America's Boating Club is the world’s largest recreational boating organization, boasting over 20,000 members. For more than 100 years, we have dedicated ourselves to making the water a safer place through boating education, civic service, and fellowship. If you're in the area, America's Boating Club of Lake Charles provides various opportunities for boating skills improvement, including online training, classroom instruction, and hands-on training. This is a fantastic chance to connect with other boaters and enjoy fun activities both on the water and on land by joining America's premier boating organization!

With membership, you receive: Boating education designed to enhance your boating skills improvement and ensure you become a mor

As a member of America's Boating Club, you will enjoy many affordable and comprehensive programs that will help you improve your boating skills and have more fun on the water while connecting with fellow boaters. With membership, you receive: Boating education designed to enhance your boating skills improvement and ensure you become a more competent and safer boater. A wide variety of comprehensive courses and informative seminars to advance your skill and knowledge in boat operation and maintenance. Savings of 20% or more on courses or seminars. Flexibility in scheduling your education through classroom instruction, online courses, and on-the-water skills training. Interaction with a group of experienced boaters from the Lake Charles Sail & Power Squadron who know how to enjoy fun cruises and out-of-town trips. Opportunities to provide community service to our neighbors, fellow boaters, and the environment, along with savings on boat insurance and many other products and services.

Our facility

The Lake Charles Sail & Power Squadron, part of America's Boating Club, meets in a spacious two-story building located at 3106 Kiwanis Lane in Lake Charles, LA. Exterior: The building features a welcoming façade with ample windows that allow natural light to flood the interior. A well-maintained landscape enhances the entrance, making it

Exterior: The building features a welcoming façade with ample windows that allow natural light to flood the interior. A well-maintained landscape enhances the entrance, making it inviting for members and guests. Interior Layout: First Floor: The main level includes a large meeting and dining room equipped with benches, a bug screen all around, and a view of the dock. There’s also a kitchenette for preparing refreshments and foods during events. Accessibility: The building is designed for easy access, with ramps and ample parking available for all members. Community Focus: The environment fosters camaraderie among members, with spaces designed for both formal meetings and social gatherings. This building serves as a hub for boating education, community events, and fellowship among members of the Lake Charles Sail & Power Squadron, emphasizing boating skills improvement.
